Augill Castle

Augill Castle has a long tradition of memorable hospitality. During its 160 years the castle has retained much of its original atmosphere. A Victorian Gothic revival folly built by an eccentric man to entertain his friends : Wendy & Simon do their upmost to continue this fantasy. Deliciously family friendly, bring the kids and unwind.

It is a place where the background is of creaking floorboards, ticking clocks and distant laughter. Interesting antiques lurk in every corner and artifacts on every mantle have a genuine story to tell.
No whispering here .. just a place which allows you to relax completely .. kick off your wellies by the front door without causing a scandal.

Fabulous bedrooms with wonderful bathroom. Suites, whole 'little castles' for families, pianos, four poster baths, quirkiness & good taste. A house full of generosity.
