Lovely people, lovely places

This is a site as much about the people as it is about the places they run.

Our friends are quite simply people like us. Although their places are all very different, they are all places we like, sharing a similar ethos, a shared sense of warmth, a desire to deliver genuine hospitality as we do at Augill Castle.

An eclectic bunch, you'll find everything but the banal and hum drum. Here are people not afraid to break the mould, to put their own soul into what they do, to put humanity back into hospitality whether that means they're giving you a bed for the night, feeding you or teaching you to cook.

Because if you like what we do, you'll like what our friends do, we hope they'll become your friends too.

None of our friends pays to be mentioned, they are here simply because we like them. All we ask in return for a mention is a website link back to Stay With Our Friends. They are then given the option to have a longer listing with pictures.

Whilst we major on places to stay, we also have collected some of our favourite places to shop, eat and visit.
